Angela Fung, PhD, LMHC, ACS
Angela Fung is a national board-certified mental health counselor and approved clinical supervisor whose initial career began as a high school Spanish teacher. Her passion for faith-based mental health counseling originates from her involvement in ministry during her early teenage years as a daughter of a Korean church planter, as well as her subsequent experience in providing lay counseling alongside her husband. Angela received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nyack College and her PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from Regent University. She is a certified trauma specialist in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing and has training in the Gottman Method, Restoration Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. Angela owns a private practice that serves individuals, couples, and families residing in CT, NJ, and NY, and enjoys teaching counselors-in-training as an adjunct professor in the Master's Program for Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University
